Eccentric (but not over the top), laid-back genius blues-folk. The whole album is aces, without a single slump in the mix. Hurley is known for his role with the Holy Modal Rounders on the classic album
Have Moicy!, which is a must-have as well, but he really stands out on this album as the paragon of americana that he is. Take your Quaaludes and down a couple beers.
